3rd Rung up the Ladder
Recently, my client S sent me a picture. She was having leisurely lunch on the first floor balcony of a mall, sitting right next to the clear glass railing. That made me jump up and down with excitement. Why?
Well, S used to joke that should couldn't climb past the 3rd rung on a ladder. She had a severe fear of heights and regularly suffered from vertigo as well. After a particularly stressful holiday experience when a booking error had placed her on the 9th floor of her hotel, she had had enough and asked me to work on it with her.
We spent a single session tapping on a few life experiences related to that fear of heights. That picture was the result! The following week she joked that we might have to do some more work to get her to the 32nd floor… :-)
