Wondering if EFT is right for you—or if I'm the right practitioner for you? Your first session is completely free.
In this session, you'll experience EFT tapping on a real issue that's affecting you right now—not just talk about it, but actually work on it. You'll see how it feels, how it works, and whether this approach resonates with you.
What you'll walk away with:
Direct experience of how EFT calms your nervous system
A basic tapping tool you can use for everyday stress relief— whether or not we continue working together
A better understanding of what's specifically getting in your way
Clarity about whether this approach feels right for you
No pressure, no sales pitch—just a real desire to help.
What happens in ongoing sessions:
We work at the pace your nervous system can handle, addressing the specific experiences that caused the trauma responses keeping you stuck, so you can finally bring your dreams to life. Sessions are 60 minutes and typically held weekly, though some clients need more frequent support during intensive phases while others shift to bi-weekly once they've built stability.
Format: Virtual sessions via Zoom.
The work itself:
We identify the trauma response patterns that are getting in your way and trace them back to their roots, step by step.
The tapping on the acupressure points continuously sends calming signals to your brain, turning off the fight/flight/freeze response and making your body feel safe.
We will literally be rewiring your brain to understand that the past is in the past and no longer needs to affect you in the present.
At the end of each session we will make sure that any outstanding work is safely contained so you can function in your daily life.
It's ok if you can't remember details - or anything at all. It's even ok if you are just not ready to talk about some of it. EFT has techniques for that - and you will still make progress.
Between sessions:
Integration happens between sessions as your nervous system recalibrates. You'll notice shifts in how you respond to triggers, increased capacity for the work that matters, and often unexpected changes in other areas of your life as old patterns are released.
Investment & Timeline: What to Realistically Expect
Individual Sessions: $150(CAD)/hour
I wish I could tell you exactly how long your healing will take, but I'd be lying if I gave you a simple answer. Trauma healing isn't linear, and complex trauma—especially years of childhood abuse, neglect, or ongoing traumatic stress—requires committed, sustained work.
Some clients experience significant shifts quickly. A specific phobia might resolve in a session or two. A particular execution block might collapse once we address the root memory. But C-PTSD has layers. We might clear one pattern only to discover another underneath. This is normal, not failure.
What I can tell you:
Most of my clients work with me for at least 6 months to a year, with some continuing longer as we address different layers. Complex trauma took years to develop; it requires committed time to heal. The depth of your trauma, your specific patterns, and your capacity for the work all influence the timeline.
Weekly sessions provide the consistency needed for deep nervous system work. Some clients need more frequent support during intensive phases; others shift to bi-weekly once they've built stability. What I can promise is that we'll work at the pace that's right for YOUR nervous system. Some sessions will feel like breakthrough; others will feel like maintenance or integration. Both are necessary. This is a marathon, not a sprint—but I can tell you from my own experience as a practitioner who has done both that it's faster and more effective than traditional talk therapy. EFT works directly with the nervous system and the body, not just the story in your head.
Healing is the strategic investment that unlocks everything else. Hesitation is understandable, but - how much has your unhealed trauma already cost you, and your dreams? And how much longer are you willing to carry that burden?
Note: I'm also developing small group intensives specifically for people with a shared mission to create positive change, which will offer a more affordable option with the power of community support. If you're interested, let me know and I'll add you to the waitlist.
Investing in Tomorrow's Leaders
The world's biggest problems need fresh perspectives and new leaders. If you're a university student or early-career professional with a clear vision for change but limited financial resources, I want to support your journey.
I keep 1-2 "pay-as-you-can" spots specifically for people under 30 who are mission-driven and committed to the work, but for whom cost is the barrier.
If that's you, email me at [email protected]. Let me know what you're working toward and what you can reasonably invest. We'll find a way to make it work.
If You've Been Turned Away Before
A number of people have told me they were refused treatment by therapists—including those using modalities recommended for trauma treatment —who said their case was "too complex" or "too severe." Others tried multiple approaches without success and were left feeling hopeless, convinced their trauma was untreatable.
If that's you, I want you to know: Your trauma is not too big to heal. You just haven't found the right approach yet.
My decades of crisis work—with homeless individuals with severe mental illness, sex trade workers, people affected by HIV/AIDS, at-risk youth, and as a Level 3 foster carer for children with complex trauma—trained me to hold space for the most extreme trauma. I'm not afraid of intensity, dissociation, or the darkest parts of your history. When the going gets tough, I will be right there by your side, guiding you through.
When other therapists say "you're too much," I say "I've got you."
Breaking Cycles: Intergenerational Trauma & Family History
As both an EFT practitioner and family historian, I bring a unique perspective to trauma work. Sometimes the patterns blocking you didn't start with you—they're inherited scripts from parents, grandparents, or even further back. If you are anything like me, you'd probably like to understand the how and why.
Studies show that trauma can be transmitted through both psychological and biological mechanisms to subsequent generations. This is how descendants of trauma survivors can end up having emotional, behavioral, and physiological responses associated with trauma without actually having experienced the traumatic events themselves.
Don't worry - we can work with intergenerational trauma whether or not you know your full family history. Your body holds the information. But if you're curious about exploring how your family's past connects to your present, I can help you trace those threads.
And here is why this work is truly important: Healing yourself doesn't just free you—it breaks cycles that may have persisted for generations. Your children, if you have them, won't inherit what you heal.
